I had a good friend tell me that she'll let me know if she has to burp. It was never an issue. Then I might put him down, or feed him again, and try to burp him again a little later. When she does, its usually within the first couple minutes if burping. I never know when to stop trying to get a burp though. How long do you burp your baby for before you give up? </p>
