I give it a little longer before I'd go to someone's house or have friends to ours. For something like a children's museum or activities, it depends how sick she was. One off fever that went away on its own, 24 hours is fine. I would keep her home longer before going to a playdate or having close contact with other kids that didn't get her sick. However, we don't stay in the house in isolation during that 24 hours. When she was an infant I would take her pretty much anywhere in a carrier. We often went to the zoo since she wouldn't be touching anything or breathing on anyone but me.
