They are just the plain white ones and I think of them like an undershirt. I don't think I've ever used a onesie as her main outfit/top. We had so many cute onesies as hand me downs and as gifts but I just didn't like the way just a onesie looked on her. I hate the shirt riding up thing. He has a few 18-24 month onesies that never get worn because it's just a pain for diaper changes. I'll keep that in mind for any future LOs ... Though he also has a few summer items that are onesies. My sister said for sure until her son was walking - because with picking them up all the time their shirts would ride up!
