Depends on what it is but I can usually get over it in about half an hour, with 90% of my anger dissipated. The remaining 10% takes longer...there are certain things I haven't gotten over 100%, 5 years later! I can really hold a grudge.

I need to sleep on things if I'm really upset, otherwise if it is just us being snarky with each other because of bad days, we spend about an hour of quiet time in seperate parts of the house, cool off (both have pretty good tempers), and then talk about it (usually laugh about it) and we are good. We had to really work on talking our problems through since we are both so stubborn!

Hubby is usually pretty good about making sure we resolve it before going to bed, but until I completely get it off my chest and the other person is actually listening and understanding, I stay upset.

Someone once told me marriage advice that was "never go to bed angry" so we try to resolve things prior. It works 90% of the time. I would never ever let either one of us leave the house the next day without resolving it. I never want to risk us seeing each other for the last time and being angry at each other :-/

Ugh I'm so bad, it takes me forever to get over things. I've been trying super hard to be better about it, though.

It varies. If I'm jusst being a hormonal crazy lady, I can usually get over it fairly soon, but if there's a legit reason, I can go for a few hours.
Normally Hubs gets over stuff faster, but he also doesn't seem to let things get to him as easily.

Hubs and I had a little tiff tonight. He had a long day at work and I had a long day with a fussy baby. We weren't communicating and when we did talk to one another, we weren't being very friendly to one another. 2 hours after I got really pissed off at him, I'm mostly over it. I'm still slightly frustrated but I'm not mad anymore.

I usually "get over it" faster than he does. He sometimes needs to sleep on things to feel better.
