I also wait a day. Don't want to chance LO's picking up something else while at the pedi unless we absolutely need to be there!

I usually check my Mayo clinic to see if anything similar is in there , I also check online too, and if I'm still worried and it hasnt cleared up in a day or two then I call the doctor

I usually wait a day then call the doctor. Even then we usually don't have to go in.

In the beginning, I would call the minute something was out of the ordinary but now I usually take the wait and see approach. I agree with your approach here...if it doesn't clear up by tmrw, might be good to take her in or call the dr. Hope it's nothing serious (and I'm sure it isn't) :)

I usually wait at least a day or two if it doesn't seem to be bothering LO, or I call the doc and see what he says.

If you see bumps/rashes or anything new on your LO, do you go to the doctor right away or do you take the wait and see approach?

I noticed a small red bump above LO's lip, and i have no idea what it can be! It could very easily be from a fall (when sitting up) but the paranoid mama in me wonders if it could be something else. Now that LO is older, i take the wait and see approach...but i think i might take her to a walk in clinic tomorrow morning if it doesn't go away!
