P had an ongoing cough for almost a month but it wasn't really getting "worse".</p> <p>After doing some research when it wasn't going away (going on 3 weeks) used eucalyptus oil &amp; lavender oil (a natural expectorant) in her bath at night &amp; I'd put 1 drop of the lavender in the corner of her crib at bedtime. If it's not getting better every day I say take her earlier. My DD did have a bad sinus infection a few months ago which resulted in pain in her eye... It's mostly when she's sleeping and in the morning, but she still coughs throughout the day. It sounds so awful at night - like she's suffocating - but she sleeps through it. </p> <p>I was thinking of taking her in if she still has it on Friday, but I don't know if they'll be able to do anything for her. </p> <p>How long do you wait to see the pediatrician if your LO has a cough? </p>
