Thanks! I was worried because it was so close to bedtime bit I just went in and checked on my snoozing girl and everything looks good, 3 hours later. :-)

First I hope your LO is just fine.
Second like many other bee's have mentioned if the reaction was severe you would have noticed by now. If your LO is excessively fussy later on I would log it.

@mediagirl: IgE (typical food allergies) are usually show up immedietly to within an hour after ingestion. A non-IgE allergy usually shows up within 2-3 hours after ingestion or sometimes a few days later depending on exposure. This is the type my son has, FPIES. If you are concerned I would start logging any symptoms and keeping a timeline of when thing pop up.

IgE you would usually expect hives, facial swelling, rash, possible ana. With a non-IgE it could be something like severe vomting, bloody stools, diarhea, shock.

A severe allergy will show right away. Lesser allergies can take time as the offensive food builds up in their system.

LO's allergic reaction to dairy flared up within seconds. By the time the second bite was on its way into her mouth, her face had already started to swell.

I think a severe allergy would have flared up straight away but a sensitivity might just result in some fussiness as the food works its way through the body.

We had salmon for dinner. I just now realized our 9 month old had never had fish before. She hasn't shown allergies to anything else but now I'm worrying. Would we have seen something within an hour after eating.
