A non-IgE allergy usually shows up within 2-3 hours after ingestion or sometimes a few days later depending on exposure. This is the type my son has, FPIES. If you are concerned I would start logging any symptoms and keeping a timeline of when thing pop up. </p> <p>IgE you would usually expect hives, facial swelling, rash, possible ana. I just now realized our 9 month old had never had fish before. She hasn't shown allergies to anything else but now I'm worrying. Would we have seen something within an hour after eating. </p>
