LO is 8 weeks. I nurse to sleep and usually he fights sleep for about 10-20 minutes. I'd say if I didn't have to nurse my youngest before bed time our bedtime routine (shower included) would be about 15 - 20 minutes max! And the same goes for my oldest. Pretty lucky so far... It did used to take a long time to get my oldest down b/c he would ask to read more and more and more and more and more books... As soon as she yawns the first time I swaddle her up, stick the paci in, &amp; turn on the white noise. I pat her butt &amp; she's out cold in 5 minutes or less. I'm so nervous about moving her into her crib though... The actual process of putting her down to sleep is pretty much instantaneous. We leave her in her crib and close her door. However, the process of bath + PJs and lotion + bottle + sleep sack easily takes 30 minutes. My LO nurses for longer than most of these bedtimes (at night). Bath and books with DH takes 30 minutes nursing and going to bed with me usually takes 20-60 minutes depending how hard he works at getting extra letdowns. He's 4 months old.
