When she was a newborn it was about an hour. I also used to change his diaper only every other wake at night since unless I heard or smelled poop. When I switched to formula at night, it brought it down to half an hour. There were many nights where I fell asleep while nursing her in the early days. He goes down for the night around 8-9 PM and then gets up at 2am and 4am for a feeding and then he will get up at 7am to eat and "play" for a little bit. The 2 and 4am wakings are killer because it always takes me an hour to feed him, burp, change and hold/rock for a while (to try to help prevent spit up). That means I only get about an hour sleep in between at best assuming I fall asleep right away! How long does/did it take you to put your LO back to sleep during these midnight wakings? </p>
