He'd be out in 5 minutes.<br /> Now it looks like this: pray. He may be asleep in an hour and a half... or maybe not.<br /> The routine is simple: diaper change, PJs, nurse, crib. She's 5 months old--we started the routine at 6 weeks old and it took a few weeks for her to get used to it (and many 2 hour walking/ rocking sessions). Now we just put her down drowsy, but awake, and she's out within about 30 seconds! It takes me about an hour to put my 5-month-old down for the night which includes a bath and nursing. That's from the start of his bathtime until I put him down in his crib, still partly awake.</p> <p>DD used to take forever, though. When she was a newborn, it literally took hours every night. Actually she still takes a while.
