If my LO is overtired then it takes at least 15-20 minutes for him to go down. But if we get him in bed at the perfect time, he's out in 3 minutes. Maybe try putting him down earlier? That's what seemed to work for us.

We nap-trained at 4months and when she goes down for a nap, at most, she'll whine for few seconds. She's a thumb-sucker so she just pops her thumb into her mouth and she soothes herself to sleep. She's 6 months now.

My LO also has to fuss it out for a little bit. She's not nap trained.

My LO is almost 10 months and ever since we nap trained at 4 months, it still takes 15-20 min of babbling and light crying before he can fall asleep. This is after he rubs his eyes, looks tired, is fussy, or just plain when I look at the clock to determine his next nap. He eventually falls asleep so I'm not too worried, just curious how long your LO's take?
