Miss A is almost six months old and takes five - ten minutes although she only takes one side at a time. I have to burp after 5 mins cause of her reflux and it is hard to get her back on. It stressed me out at first. </p> <p>As a newborn, he nursed 10-15 minutes and that was me pushing him to try and nurse. Now it's usually 4-5 minutes on one side, 8 minutes tops. I remember that around 3 months she started getting more efficient and the sessions dropped to closer to 15 minutes, which was nice. However, sometimes she has a particularly long session - 25-30 minutes. It generally happens at night or first thing in the morning (which makes sense), but not always. How long does your LO take? Do you ever see big variation? </p>
