We go upstairs, change dipe and put on jammies, then read 3 books. A quick hug and kiss and end with singing twinkle twinkle and the ABC song. Even if they don't fall asleep right away, they'll babble/chit-chat together for awhile on their own without us there. She likes to splash and play if she takes a bath, but doesn't get one every night. We do teeth, diaper and pjs, she will sometimes nurse, book and song, and off to bed. Last night, as I was putting her in the crib and singing a song, she started waving bye-bye to me...I didn't even get to finish singing before she basically kicked me out. If he has a bath add 5-10 mins in. </p> <p>T more or less needs a bath every night now that he's outside a lot. She doesn't sit for stories yet so her routine is just a couple of minutes. LO2 has to brush her teeth and go potty and age does everything she can to make that last forever. Then we read a couple of stories and that takes a few minutes too. In total her routine is about 20 minutes. It seems like it takes forever but I'm sure that's pretty average! I'm not including baths since those happen every other night and there is usually a little play time afterwards. </p>
