<description>&#60;p&#62;How many nights did it take for CIO to work?  We are heading into night #7 and he still cries for 30-60 minutes (with check ins) before he finally falls asleep.  How long did it take before you could put the baby down and just get a few cries/whimpers before they fell asleep?  The constant hard crying is killing me, but I'm reluctant to give up because:&#60;br /&#62;
a) we still have a problem - he won't fall asleep without a very complicated bouncing/holding/swaying/rocking dance and after all that he still sometimes wakes up when we put him in his crib&#60;br /&#62;
b) then I have made him do all this CIO for nothing and will probably have to subject him to it again at some point&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;What are your experiences with letting them CIO?
