@Revel: It's also possible that maybe your LO wasn't feeling totally 100% either and ended up eating less than normal too, which could've affected your supply. Hopefully things pick back up for you soon!!

@Adira: Yes, I agree with this totally. If today is short again I will find a way to fit in an extra session the next few days for sure. Don't want to let it go on too long!

@Revel: What I tried to do when I was sick was not dip into my freezer stash if possible. I know it's hard to add pumping sessions, but I tried to add more sessions (or pump longer) in order to still meet Xander's needs for the next day. I think that helped my supply recover!

@Adira: Thanks! I'll stick with it and hopefully this will be my only tough week. I already do a pump before bed so not sure when to fit in more pumping on my working days, but maybe I'll extend my sessions at least.

I always tried to pump or nurse more when sick in order to help my supply recover, but I would say it usually took about a week for things to get back to normal! Hope you see an increase soon!! <3

I had a stomach bug over the weekend so wasn't able to eat or drink too much. I did continue to nurse LO and she seemed to nurse about as many times as normal. I feel like I'm producing a little less but she seems to be getting plenty when we're together.

I am pumping less than normal though. I was short a few ounces yesterday and today is starting off the same way. I'm trying to eat and drink as much as possible, and nurse as much as I can. I'm not really able to squeeze in an extra pump session, but maybe I can let my sessions go a little longer at work?

Any thoughts? When did your supply recover after illness?

Oh, and LO is seven months old.
