We waited and finally trained her over the summer after she turned 3. We took her to an open house at preschool, let her play for an hour, and then said she couldn't go to school unless she used the potty (true). My son is obsessed with the potty and loves to sit on his chair and tells me when he goes...but I'm zero percent interested in actually doing any training. We bought her a potty seat, and sometimes she wants to sit on it. We also moved her to pull-ups, because she was getting good at taking off her diaper. She was about 18 months old when we got her a potty seat but we didn't do much with it until we actually potty trained her at 22 months with the OCPT method. Gradually we prompted her to go more and more at regular times (before and after naps etc...). I knew she was ready around her 2nd birthday but I was super pregnant so wanted to wait. Plus DH and I have NO interest in attempting to potty train before DS is here in March :) </p>
