She busts out with things from over a year ago. Like she remembers seeing the whales and turtles in Hawaii from a year ago this month (and talks about it in detail). She remembers the chickens from my mom's house from 18 months old and she remembers the telescope at Mister Jacks' parents house from a year old. I can't explain it, but she will even bring up things or people that we haven't talked about in a year, like a cousin she hasn't seen in a long time who we otherwise haven't mentioned once. It's crazy. How old are they? M is 9.5 months and I would say she has a good 2-4 weeks memory at least of significant items. I can say this because our really good friend D is her 3rd favorite person in the world. Next to mom & dad of course. :) But we only see him & his wife once a week sometimes every other week. But every time she sees him she is SUPER excited, smiley and giddy! Been that way since she was old enough to "play"
