I work in 10 different rural schools and I'm also commuting between schools during the work day. I stay home Fridays to do my paperwork. I don't mind my commute on the way to work even though it's so long. I love drinking my coffee and listening to music. I also talk to my other SLP Friends on the phone who also have long commutes. I don't like the commute home as much but I'm home by 4pm so my days aren't too long. On the way back home, it's a 10 minute walk home, 35 minute ferry ride (its not express like in the morning), 20 minute car ride home. We're in the office by 7. On the way home, it can be up to 45 minutes, depending on traffic.</p> <p>Two days a week, I do a super commute. Without being too specific, I take 3 forms of public transportation, if all the connections are timed well, it takes a little less than 1.5 hours.
