We'll change his diaper, put him in a sleeper if he isn't already wearing one, zip him into his swaddle, and walk away. We head upstairs, use the potty, and have a vitamin. Then we brush teeth and wash hands/face. Then it's off to the bedroom for a diaper/pj change and into the crib he goes with a hug and kiss. He lays down, I hand him each of his stuffed animals individually and we say goodnight to them. It takes about an hour for 2 kids. 30 min for the bath/shower and we read for another 30 min. For A, it's much longer because she has learned she can stall. She wants more books, and needs more animals/books in her bed, her water needs more ice, she needs just one more bear hug from both of us. Then wants us to hold her hand.
