We started around 30 months when my husband and I were out of town and my parents were staying with LO. My mom kind of trained her over that weekend (thanks, Grandma!) since LO will do anything to please her. I would say we had the occasional accident (like, once a week maybe?) for a month or so. It was not nearly as tough as I had feared, luckily, though I think that's often the case when you start later.

It's crazy how different kids are. One of mine was instantly dry overnight but gets super distracted during the day and ends up with accidents. The other did great with daytime and had very few accidents but then night time was an ordeal that lasted a long, long time. It's one of those wait and see kind of things.

We started over Christmas break and 3.5 months later we're still working on it. Having some issues with #2. He's 95% potty trained at home, but not car trips/public places yet. And that's cool. It's a journey and that's fine with me. I don't want to force him into it if he's not quite ready.

We introduced the potty at 19 months, she peed in it for a while and did great with no undies on (naked at home), and then we hit training hard for 3 days when my husband was on vacation. She was 26 months. She's had less than 5 accidents since!

So, I guess It took 3 days but with months of "practice" beforehand.

We started young and had a regression when we moved but even though she's been in undies during the day since January, I'm still happy when she doesn't have a (pee) accident. Maybe she's just absent minded or doesn't care but if I don't bring her if it's been a while, there's a strong chance she'll pee her pants.

We didn't do a 3 day bootcamp, so it took longer. We really let LO set the pace. From when we started to when we officially stopped all diapers was a year. Our nighttime diaper was the struggle.

I'd say it took about two weeks. He was never without his bottoms at home. We just took him to the bathroom with undies on every half hour until he got more confident. Then, we extended the time to an hour in between, then more. Now, it's more a case of being too long without a potty, before an activity, after an activity, before bed, before school.

We didn't do the three day method and it took about a month until we were confident about peeing. He really resisted pooping in the potty and that took MONTHS! I had to bribe him with cartoons to get him to poop in the potty.

I don't do the three day method. At 28 months, my daughter went from peeing in the potty much of the time at home to being 95% reliable in public or at home, and while awake, in about 2 weeks. Diapers off for nap time followed in a month or so, then at night maybe 6 months later. Accidents were 1 or 2 a week for the first few months, then they tapered off to almost never.

We potty trained last month and aside from the first two weeks where he had a few potty accidents and holding poop issues, he hasn't had accidents and is now consistently dry overnight and we are contemplating making the jump to underwear at nighttime too.

I felt confident by mid-week 2 of her going back to daycare (after we did the 3 day method). I felt like that was the real test since I knew they wouldn't be asking her if she needed to go all the time, like we could do at home. She had a few accidents the first week at daycare and then zero after that so I knew she had it.

Same question as title.. We are doing 3 day boot camp and he's doing amaze balls bare bottomed. The plan is to go with loose fitting pants/shorts for the next two months to be sure he has got the potty thing down. How long till you felt comfortable your LO had potty training down 100%? I'm guessing a few months
