She did wake up, after I decided to make my phone call. Picked her and bounced her while I talked and she's back out. We will just hang out in the glider now.

@hilsy85: She's been opening her eyes on and off (thank you video monitor!) She seems to be going back to sleep in between fusses, but sometimes she will just look around for a while in between. She could eat now, but she is really a terrible napper so I try to keep her asleep as long as I can on the occasions that she does nap.

Seriously, I've stood up, filled my water, and started walking to her room 3 times. And now eyes are closed and she's still.

Is she awake? Or still sleeping and fussing in her sleep?

At that age, if it was time for LO to eat I would just get him up. Otherwise, I'd let him fuss if his eyes were still closed.

How long would you let your LO fuss as they wake up from a nap?

C is 6.5 weeks. She has been on and off fussing for more than half an hour, but just as she actually cries and I get ready to go in and get her, she quiets down again. I figure this is good for learning to self sooth, even if she isn't quite going back to sleep? Kind of annoying because I had a phone call to make that I definitely had time for, but I kept thinking she would lose it at any minute. She hasn't actually cried for more than a minute at a time, it's mostly just moving and making noises.

This kid likes to keep me on my toes.
