We're about 8 months in and still no poops going but the pee is pretty great. However accidents are still happening at least once a week.

We're about a month in. Pee is pretty good now (occasional accident but it's less than once a week). Poop is ok at home cause we can help her but she's pooping in her undies almost every day at daycare. :bummed: They don't seem too fazed by it...

Still 0 accidents today -- not even little leaks! We've got about 2 hours until we get changed for bed. If we make it through those 2 hours then LO gets "a big treat". If Amazon delivers on time, the treat is a play parking deck that hooks up to his roads and train tracks. If Amazon is late (like usual) he's going to get chocolate. :P

Lo is 29 months and about 6 weeks into Port training. The last month we have pee accidents if he's really busy (playing it on the iPad) and I don't prompt. I have too remember to offer if it's been a while and he hasn't said he needs to go.

He's getting the hang of it, upset when he pees himself but it's just hard to remember sometimes.

I think we are in great shape and don't mind having to change we pants every now and then.

In the grand tradition of problems improving as soon as you ask for help...
...we have been accident-free so far today. There will still be 4-5 more hours of the day after nap, but even if the rest of the day is a disaster, we're off to a great start!

We didn't start training until DS turned 3. I'd say it took a good 6 months before he was accident free. Every kid is different and every kid eventually finds success. Good luck!

DS1 basically self trained (decided he was done with diapers) at 30 months. And we are still have accidents at 35 months... He hates to poop at daycare and has pee accidents if he's distracted. It's so hard!

We just PT our 24 months (using Oh Crap Method) and we still get a full on pee accident every 3-4 days and we are on week 2. We have found that she typically only has accidents when we are playing hide and seek or similar running around game so I've gone back to over prompting during those times and lots of reminders that even though we are doing XYZ, you need to still tell us when you need to potty or something similar. But sounds like y'all are doing awesome!

I waited a really long time to potty train almost 3 years old (33 months) and she's had one poop accident and one pee and both were her being unwilling to go on her own which is what I'm working towards now. I really took the lazy approach to potty training and waited until I was sure she was ready but it's worked well for us!

@gotkimchi: The only pattern to accidents is that playing outside for more than 20-30m tends to end in an accident even if we go outside immediately after a successful void. I think he's just too distracted/excited/involved to remember to tell us OR to hold it at all.

It took us a long time for her to prompt herself every time - maybe 6 months? But before that if we stayed on top of it she was good after 2 weeks or so. Do you notice the accidents at a certain time? 26 months is still little so I think you're doing good!

My 26-month-old kid is on day 12 of potty training and we seem to have plateaued in progress.

Days 5 and onward have been pretty similar: 6-8 successes, 1-2 full-on accidents, 2-3 instances of very small accidents with damp undies but no wetness on clothes.

I don't know what the yardstick is for appropriate success or progress at this stage. How are we doing? How did it go for you?
