Honestly a waste of time. Today is a follow up physical exam. I still get sad moments, absolutely. Especially if something takes me by surprise. I'm actually surprised I'm not having them more often. I think I'm getting used to and expecting to be sad the and disappointed, which is awful in its own right. I'm so glad the change of scenery was so healing! That's great! I'm sorry to hear about your family member, those situations are really tough. He just gave me the run down of when to start trying again, and ordered some blood tests to monitor my thyroid levels which were a little high (very slight subclinical hypothyroidism). Just called today to say my levels were normal but to stay on the pills, until I suppose we get lucky with a BFP. He is very laid back in his approach, so I imagine the check up would just have been a little bit of an overkill for a specialist appointment. Sorry for the novel! How about you? How are you feeling? Do you still get the sad moments? I had one today where I learned a family member is expecting in March with a big oops pregnancy, so I'm happysad about it. The wait was so brutal, it caused me and DH to reevaluate our plans, and we decided to ntnp instead of waiting a cycle to try again - we felt emotionally ready. I ended up getting pregnant before getting my period, we were shocked! But everything has been healthy so far (currently 28 weeks), thankfully. The wait nearly killed me, I'm not going to lie. That pregnancy was not viable and I had the D&C. After that, they just kept getting longer and longer. So, the short answer would be no because I was on bc. I am coming up to 6 weeks with no sign of it coming :bummed: I can't remember now what my OB said, but I'm pretty sure he said expect it to be 4-6 weeks. I know I should just be patient but it's starting to worry me. I had a missed miscarriage end of July - so I have this silly irrational fear that my body just doesn't know what to do anymore.
