Plus, it isn't as though you leave the birth center and never see your midwife again. My doc actually suggested I go home in one day since my delivery was so quick (she didn't even make it in time) but I said no thanks I'll stay the two days. I felt great but was going home to my twin toddlers who did visit at the hospital. We affectionately call them the twinadoes so the hospital was more peaceful than home. Jealous of the days when my mom delivered and you stayed for a week. We both made it home Tuesday afternoon. I wasn't confident with him yet, so I was happy to stay around people who knew what they were doing. My labor nurse was amazing. Like seriously, if I saw her I'd still hug and kiss her. I had high hopes for post-partum, but they were REALLY bad. Lazy and annoyed . One of them almost destroyed breastfeeding by jamming Lala's face into me. She was oral averse after that and was so dehydrated that she almost got readmitted :( </p>
