I dropped the bedtime feed at 13 months and the wake up feed just before 14 months. She is almost 23 months and it's been this way since about 16 months. By the time she was close to two, it really didn't matter if she nursed a lot during the day or just once or twice. It was easy to handle the fluctuations without getting uncomfortable or worrying about not having enough. As they get older it does definitely become less about the milk and nutrition, and most women's supply naturally decreases. Your body will most likely continue to make milk to meet whatever the demands are. I love the toddler stage because it is so relaxed and no-pressure. If you went this route, how long did your supply allow you to nurse morning and night?</p> <p>I stopped pumping at work a month ago and completely stopped pumping two weeks ago and so far, knock on wood, my body has adjusted. I'm hoping to nurse morning and night until LO self-weans but I'm curious what others' experiences have been. </p>
