I know two other people (again, just Facebook friends) that have used the name Audrey for their kids. </p> <p>I think it is mostly coincidence and factor of a specific name or sound that is popular in your area! The same thing happened with the name Cora for me. There are 3 Cora's in my daughter's daycare in her age group (2 classes with 12 kids each). And over the past year, I've have four friends (in different friend groups) use the name.</p> <p>ETA: The hospitals in our area release the top 15 baby names from the previous year. One is nearly 11 y/o (an aqaintence of my DD), another is a former student of mine from when I taught upper elementary 7 years ago (* now a young adult about 19), and, the last - I went to high school with the her (so, closing in on 40 y/o).
