How wrong we were, though it's not really an issue with the number of beds and baths - it's all about the size of the rooms! </p> <p>Our early '40s home has the opposite of an open floor plan, and although there are more rooms, the room size is on the smaller side. We currently have a 3BR, 2.5 bath home that is about 1200sq ft living space without a basement. We have to have keep one of the bedrooms as an office since DH does some free-lance work and we don't have anywhere else he could work. We plan to put both LOs in the same room which can work long term if LO#2 is a girl and will work short term if LO#2 is a boy.
