@Mrs. Oatmeal: Also I think they should start to increase/progress. So if its staying very variable over 2 hours or so, its probably nothing. If it increases and gets regular then I would worry.

@yoursilverlining: ahh that's the missing piece. They're pretty irregular still- sometimes 10 min apart, sometimes 25 min apart!
I'll chug water and see what happens- I can't go home, but I'll keep an eye on things

Thanks everyone!

My OB said to call if they were more than 6 per hour, but if they are timable and coming in regular intervals you should definitely call. My OB stressed the last part. I had more than 6 per hour plenty of times and called and she never had me come in, but she said if they were on a regular schedule like contractions, she would have had me come straight in.

Yup, agree with the above. Rest and water and if they dont subside, call the doc.

I would do as @lovehoneybee: suggested: go home and lay down, drink lots of water. If they continue to come every 10 minutes or so, might be worth giving the midwife a call. I had tons of BH, and I went to L&D several times because they got regular enough to time. It was just prodromal labor, but I felt better being monitored for a while.

Last time my midwife told me to drink some water and lie down for an hour, and to call after that if I was still getting more than 4 an hour.

I'm 35.5 weeks, and my BH contractions have been out of control this morning- pretty much every 10-15 minutes. They aren't painful but they're very uncomfortable.

Any recommendations?
