Both m daughter and son like books and want like a zillion before bed. With my daughter its easier as she will listen to a story and then move on to the next. My son can take like 20 minutes to get through one book. He needs to draw every page on his MagnaDoodle, he needs to examine all the pictures closely, he needs to ask questions and look back at other pages to be sure and then he needs to do this for the next million books. I love books and I love reading and I love they inherited this love but sometimes Im so exhausted and this is just the straw that breaks the camels back at the end of the night for me. If we get our bedtime routine done pretty fast then I'll read 3-5 books.
