We went through a few different kinds of bottles, but ended up with 8-9 that we had in rotation. I also had bottles that came with my pump, so I would pump into those and then transfer/freeze each evening. Every day LO would take 4 bottles at daycare and then I would pump into 6 bottles (3 pumpings per day, two sides). And that did not include the 3-4 times I breast fed her directly when we were together. </p> <p>Is there a reason you want to go to pumping? I guess it depends on how often you want to wash them. When my daycare girl was formula fed her Mom just left 1 bottle at my house and I washed it after each use with no problem. DS had 3 bottles and that was enough for us because I also just washed them after each use. So it all depends on how often you want to wash them.
