Technically 5.
I have 2 SSC's - a tula and an olives and applesauce
1 woven wrap in a 6 ( a girasol )
1 WCRS but I've never used it as I can't get it comfortable so just waiting on going to a babywearing meetup
I also have a mei tai that I've never used. Doesn't really appeal to me, I should donate it or something.

If I keep practicing at wrapping I might try a shorter wrap. The 6 is so long I get it so dirty trying to use it right now as the snow is melting!

Way too many! It's an addiction. I have 5 woven wraps: a size 2, 3, two 4's, and a 6. I also have a ring sling, a mei tai, and a tula. But in my defense, I babywear everyday. I'm also working on becoming a volunteer babywearing educator. You have to take a written test and a practical test. Then you can teach others how to babywear. We have a great local babywearing group that I volunteer for now. So, it's something that's really important to us. I usually use my wraps and wear LO on my back.

(1) k'tan for when LO was an infant, he didn't like it
(2) ergo that we used for a long time
(3) boba air we bought for travel and hot weather, probably not worth it
(4) tula toddler for when LO got bigger
(5) ring sling (cotton) for 30 lb LO (easy up and down)
(6) another ring sling (linen) in preparation for LO coming this summer

we probably could have done without the k'tan and boba air. and honestly, even the tula--at that point LO was getting big enough that the quicker in and out ring sling is probably a better option.

3 - Maya ring sling, a Beco Gemini, and a Babyhawk mei tei. I LOVED my ring sling, but I haven't been able to use it in months because he's too curious and was constantly twisting around to see things and was killing my back. Along the same lines, he doesn't like to be FFI with the Gemini, FFO isn't comfortable for me, and I have yet to master the back carry. So he either goes in the stroller or he hoofs it.

Two ergos (one for DH, one for me)
A mesh bjorn (for before my kids fit in the Ergo, and for the nanny, who preferred it)
A really nice Osprey backpack carrier for hiking

If you have the finances and storage space, it's nice to have a carrier adjusted for each primary caregiver (and useful if you have a second baby close in age)

We used to have a Moby and a pocket sling, but I never got the hang of either with either child beyond the first few weeks, so I sold those.

Thinking about getting a tula.

we picked the k'tan and the onya, moby and ergo were hand me downs, ring sling was a gift. we've used all of them a lot except for the ring sling - I just can't get it to feel comfortable and secure.

6  DH always tells our friends that I'm crazy about Babywearing. With dd1 I only had an Ergo and I loved it. Prior to dd2 birth I got a linen sling from SBP that I used for 3 months. During that time I also bought a Girasol size 4 and a Natibaby linen blend size 6. The 4 was hard to use for a wrapping newbie but I loved my 6!!! I still use that in rotation with my new love - LennyLamb ergo. The wrap material is so soft and cuddly that I love it more than a standard Tula I bought earlier. I also have a tablecloth SPB ring sling that I haven't used yet. I plan to break that out once spring hits and we aren't in bulky gear anymore.

I am planning on selling my Girasol size 4 and a Mahogany Tree of Life tablecloth shortie leftover from the conversion. Even though I haven't really used the Tula yet I'm thinking I will reach for it more when dd2 gets bigger. That's what I keep telling myself at least... :silly:

4 for two kids
- a super light linen SSC called Masupi
for when they're little
- a standard Tula (with to grow extenders)
currently used for our toddler when we want him contained in public
ETA: And the stroller is not an option
- a woven Didymos wrap
LO2 is so tiny that the SSC didn't feel right and I didn't want to get a Moby type wrap that I can only use for a couple of weeks
- an Osprey Poco carrier
used for hiking

We came late to baby wearing but I recently bought an Ergo which I use to back carry our two year old and I also bought a ridiculously cheap Kelty hiking backpack which gets an occasional outing.
