We've always had 3 or 4 between the 2 of us with one of them being a toy. We're also not near public transportation. DH has a 2 door dodge ram truck that he uses mostly for work. I drive a crown victoria (that used to be DH's). If we go somewhere together we always take my car now that we have the baby. DH has a much longer commute, so he has a POS 2001 corolla that gets almost 40mpg, that thing is amazing! You really can't kill a corolla! And I have the total opposite- a Chrysler Pacifica that gets all of 14mpg and is not the most reliable thing. We live in new England so we feel like it is important to have one all wheel drive vehicle.
