There's the back to school pancakr breakfast party, Halloween party, thanksgiving, Christmas, valentines, spring fling/book fair, graduation. I think there might be one or two more i'm missing. I live them thoug! It a great way to get to know the parents. And the kids have a blast! There are 2 other in homes on the same block so they do a parade of costumes with the other kids! :) I'm excited, this is LOs first year participating! I don't really think having a ton of parties adds to anything, and it creates a lot of work for the parents. Other than that they have numerous happenings throughout the year but they don't need as much parent participation as the two parades. One for Thanksgiving, and one Holiday party. The parents sign up to bring lunch items, decorations, and dessert, and the kids sing a seasonal song for us, and we all eat. My DS's toddler room doesn't have parties, it's only for early childhood. It's weird because there are no other parties for the rest of the year, and the only two that we have occur within one month of each other! What about you?
