He goes to preschool twice a week and has missed two days so far for fever/vomiting. I think he missed two or three days all year last year so I feel like it's been a lot!

She goes to preschool 3 days a week and has missed twice. One was when her baby sister was born and the other was last week so she could visit with my best friend from college (only time she has available and lives on the other side of the country).

Just one day this year since we were on a trip. Last year he only took one day off due to illness, which I found to be really good for his first year in school.

She hasn't missed any yet, but when I picked her up yesterday, they said she was a bit off. She has had a nasty cough and had a low grade fever over the weekend but I didn't think a cough warranted a day off.

I went to her school last Thursday to do a little talk with the kids about Thanksgiving and it sounded like a hospital ward! So much coughing, sneezing, spluttering, and snot! I wasn't surprised to see a notice on the door of the school yesterday saying they currently have confirmed cases of HFM, impetigo, and croup. Awesome. And DH currently has strep, so I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop here!

LO1 goes to preschool 3 days a week and she missed last Wednesday and I decided to keep her home yesterday too. She had a fever last week and that turned into croup. Her cough got better but she still had it now and then and almost no appetite. I wasn't certain on the rules for sickness yet, so I emailed her teacher and she said the cough is going around so I could send her. I used my mommy instinct though and kept her here one more day to rest. I am sending her today though, time to get back into a routine. Although...I secretly loved having the cuddle days at home :)

Just this year, how many days of school or daycare has your LO missed? Do you secretly like the stay at home days so you can cuddle?
