Our little girl surpassed that, but not by much. My LO didn't really start peeing and pooping a significant amount until a day or two in. Then we really tried to change every two hours. Do you have liners for meconium? We try to change every 2 hours. But there may be times when they pee on one while you are changing or have a blow out the second you get a clean diaper on them. Does 12 sound about right? I'd rather have extras than be short. </p>
