I change every 3 hours, and use a disposable at night.</p> <p>The number of diapers you need partially depends on how often you plan to do washing. I loathe washing diapers, so I only do it every 4 days or so. I use a cover and insert system, so I can use the covers more than once. He's a peeing machine so if he drinks alot of water it might sometimes go to 8.
