I waited until I was pretty sure I was 2 days late. For some reason it was easier for me to wait to test than to get a BFN. The test I took was not a digital, but it was such a clear positive that I did not need to follow up with a digital test. The first one had a somewhat faint line and while I had a feeling I was, in fact, pregnant, I didn't believe it until we took a digital on the second night. The first to were FRER and the line was so faint I didn't think they counted as a positive. Then that same evening, I took a digital and it came up negative. I was sure it was going to be another chemical, so I gave it almost a week to see if it "went away" like the other 2 did. Then I took a CBE digital on 16DPO and immediately got a "Pregnant." So then I took a second one just to get that thrill of the timer thingy turning into "PREGNANT!" Please do not do what I did...apparently around 6 to 8 weeks, you have so much HCG that the test might not read it properly and could become lighter.
