BUT .. BUT .. my company gives me veteran's day off of all days. And her daycare is open. I HAPPILY send her to daycare but dang it .. it's my ONE DAY OFF THE ENTIRE YEAR that I can have all to myself. No cleaning. No grocery shopping. No laundry. I sleep, eat in bed, watch trashy shows and shower at 2 in the afternoon. She is with my mom two days per week usually 9-4ish. I WAH part-time.</p> <p>In the fall, we are going to 3 days per week and I think we will add after-care which will make for 8 hour days. My commute is an hour to work, which means L has to be at daycare by 7am. I get off at 4:30 and that means we don't pick him up until closer to 5:30. This is REALLY standard in my city. These mom's are not failures.
