We started at age 20 months for two mornings per week, and then six months later we switched to five mornings per week. We have a combination of grandparent care and a sitter the rest of the time. So, our son is in daycare for about 25 hours per week, and then other coverage for another 30 hours (including nap and a trip to the park each day). I usually work from home about once per week so sometimes I can sneak out and see him while I'm home too. Try to drop off 8/8:15 and pick up 4:15/4:45, earlier on Fridays. This is when I am on the only one doing drop off/pick up.
