I do it in the evening and let the covers air dry overnight and assemble the pocket diapers in the morning. She spends a couple hours a week with grandparents who don't use cloth. We wait until she only has one diaper left so that we can get as full a load as possible (we also throw some other things in there to make sure it's 2/3 full).
