If we have to change the sheets we just wipe it down real quick and throw on a new sheet and are good to go. My trick it to make the bed in layers- pad, fitted sheet, pad, fitted sheet, pad, fitted sheet.</p> <p>That way, if there's an accident in the night, I just pull off the top sheet and pad and the bed is already clean and made underneath! It happens a lot more often with baby spit-up and leaky diapers. Once they get a little older, the blankets are obviously a sids risk. I would use a super thin blanket and tuck in the edges around the edges of the bassinet liner.
