I don't hesitate to pop some advil when I have a headache, so it didn't make sense to me to allow her to be in pain when I could do something about it. Baby A was a serious teether - she had 12 at her first birthday, and now, at 14 months, we're pretty sure her canines are coming in. That being said, I personally tried not to give motrin unless he was screaming/crying/it was really affecting his sleep. But if those things are true, then motrin all the way--why would i want him to be uncomfortable if I can help him? The bottom two are right there. I can feel them right under the gums. The gums are white. I have been giving her some Motrin at night cause they always bother her so much more. She is still adjusting to one nap a day at day care. She is so overtired so I want her to get as much sleep at night as she can but then I wonder if how much medicine is too much? </p>
