That early on we fed 2-3 ounce in a bottle. When she started daycare at 12 weeks she had 3 ounce bottles 4 times a day (12 ounces in 10 hours).

Around 6 months she went up to 4 ounce bottles 3 times a day (12 ounces in 10 hours)

And now around 9 months with plenty of solids the pedi said it was fine to go to 5 ounce bottles twice a day (10 ounces in 10 hours plus solids)

Here's a good reference guide for how much baby needs when bottle feeding with expressed milk:
kellymom.com/bf/pumpingmoms/pumping/milkcalc/

I know for a 1 mth old max tummy capacity is 5oz and until 6 mths baby "needs" ~25 oz of bm a day, so you can divide 25 by the number of feedings baby has & get a good idea of how much they'll eat per feeding (per kellymom)

There is no set answer, especially when it comes to a breastfed baby. My son rarely ever took more than 4-5oz, even at 6+ months old. He preferred breast to bottle so you couldn't judge a bottle feeding to a breastfeeding. When my son was 6 weeks old and we introduced a bottle he'd never take more than 3oz at a time.

I don't. We guess a lot. Normally we make 4 oz at a time. Sometimes she doesnt finish it so we put it in the fridge. And sometimes she is still hungry so dh makes her more.

Honestly I wouldn't worry. Every baby is different. If your lo were hungry you would know. : ) DD has always eaten a lot (anywhere from 2 to 8 oz a feeding depending on the time of day). But I know a lot of babies who eat less.

LO is 18 days old and when we feed him pumped breastmilk, he will take 2 ounces (but I haven't tried to feed him much more than that). I'm guessing that when I breastfeed he drinks something similar.

But, I have no idea what is normal for this age. Doesn't seem like much!
