He's 10 months old. His schedule is:

5:45 AM: nurse (probably 6 ozs)
6 AM: breakfast (usually chicken apple sausage and a fruit puree)
10:00 AM: bottle (6 ozs)
12:00 PM: lunch (veggie puree + maybe yogurt)
2 PM: bottle (6 ozs)
4 PM: sometimes an afternoon snack of puffs
6 PM: bottle (6 ozs)
6:30 PM: dinner (practically the kitchen sink.. he's a bottomless pit)

He doesn't feed overnight.

Based on his schedule, I would leave 24 ozs.

Have fun with your DH!

My guy just turned 10 months.

Our schedule is:

5-7am - Nurse (depends on wake up time)
8:00 - breakfast (banana yogurt cheerios)
9-9:30 - 4 oz bottle
11:30 - lunch
12:00-12:30 - 4 oz bottle
3-3:30 - 4 oz bottle
5:30-6 - Dinner
7:00 - Nurse before bed
1-2 nursing over night.

I think when I left him at 5 months I left DH with 30 oz of milk for during the day and overnight (roughly enough for 6 five ounce bottles) Now that he is on solids he takes only 12 during the day and probably another 15 nursing over night (including evening, overnight and morning).

My LO never took more than 5 oz of BM at a time. For a 24-hour period I think she would've taken around 24-25 oz. She also still wasn't really into solids at that point yet but if your LO is then maybe a little less BM. Have a great time with your DH!!

Mine was nursing/taking a bottle 4 times a day at 9.5 months. During the week, he would nurse once in the morning and then have three 6 oz bottles. So he probably had around 24-26 oz total for the day, depending on how much he got out of that first nursing session.

I would probably try to leave around 24 oz of BM and then your LO can have solids to make up any difference.

This was Xander's schedule at that time:

5:30 a.m. - nurse
7:30 - solids for breakfast
9:00 a.m. - bottle (6 oz)
11:00 - solids for lunch
12:00 p.m. - bottle (6 oz)
3:00 - bottle (6 oz)
5:30 - solids for diner
7:00 - bedtime

I EBF my 9.5 month old and have no idea how many oz he takes in a session or a day. This weekend DH and I are going away overnight for the first time since both kids were born! I'm pumping for the first time since DS2 was 3 months old to leave milk with MIL who will have the boys. How much should I leave for this 24 ish hour period??? How much does your 9/10 month old take in a session? Before bed? In a 24 hour period??
