I nurse her right before drop off and as soon as we get home (it's a 5 minute walk). So, I send between 6-9 oz. depending on the day. My freezer stash is dwindling pretty quickly, and I hope she can remain ebf until 6 months. Usually 3 4oz bottles. There were a few weeks where she took closer to 14 oz (4 3.5oz bottles). My almost 3 month old is offered a 3 ounce bottle every three hours, and he does not always finish that. So, he is offered 9 ounces, and usually eats 7-8 ounces of that. I usually go 11 hours between feedings. I nurse once in the morning, twice in the evening, and once or twice overnight. My oldest also took smaller bottles, and he STTN very early. Currently, I'm sending 3 - 4 oz bottles and 1 -2 oz bottle. He eats the small bottle maybe 1/2 the time. If he doesn't eat it, I use it the next day. I would always send one extra smaller bottle (2 oz) and she would occasionally drink it. I think the babies who need more are often those who are sleeping through the night and/or are not nursing as frequently when they are home. At that age, I was feeding mine twice before we even left for daycare, twice in the evening, and multiple times over night. She wasn't a huge eater. If you want to pump more, have you tried eating avocado or upping your water intake? I can only pump about 11/12 oz a day. I have a freezer stash of about 100 ounces but I really don't want to dip into it too deeply. Do some babies just need less milk than others? I feel like I hear about babies who eat 16-20 ounces while away from mom! </p>
