You might not get much less milk than pumping three times. At 10 months I knew we were getting close to the end- started giving her WCM shortly after- which she loved and she was fully weaned a day or two after her first birthday- with very little stress/issue for either of us. I was down to maybe 5oz per day and had run down my freezer stash. 9.5mo coincided with mid December, and I had planned to take the last two weeks of the year off anyway. So, I nursed on demand while I was home for those two weeks. And then when I went back to work at 10mo we switched to cow's milk during the day when I was at work.</p> <p>I know that most people wait til a year to start cow's milk, but our pediatrician suggested introducing it at 10mo. Given the issues with my supply, I was happy to give that a try.
