It was in the summer so people were in the backyard, living room, kitchen and family room. We had a hard time trimming down the guest list and I'm glad we invited everyone that we did. (HUGE 1st b-days, or dols, are very common in my culture). So I think it would depend on our kid's social comfort. DH is a total ham, but I have mild social anxiety issues (hence, small wedding) so I guess it could go either way.</p> <p>Practically, our families are spread out everywhere, so I think it would be just my side of the family (they live closer). If our kid could deal, perhaps some of my extended relatives could be invited. So it could be as few as 5 adults, it could be as many as 15 adults and 5 kids.</p> <p>*ETA: If its just my family, it would be at our house or at my mom's house.
