As a first kid, I have a full baby book, photo album and tons of uncategorized snapshots. I have a few childhood pictures that I scanned years ago, but for the most part I'm happy to have just those few pictures. One with my grandfather (the only time I ever met him), one driving a little ride-on toy, and one getting a bath in a kitchen sink. And one when I'm older, playing the piano.</p> <p>The best part (to me) is that I can see some similarities to how my kids look now, which isn't something I would've remembered otherwise! I've only ever seen one pictures of my mom's father, and it was shocking to me how similar we looked. So I want my kids to see these pictures some day, so they can maybe experience that feeling of connection to their family too.</p> <p>I have more pictures from the college years on... but just a few from childhood. </p>
