One prize per guest? Adults need consolation prizes at baby showers now? *eyeroll*

I agree with PP that one prize per game is fine.

I’d do a prize per winner. There can only be one winner a game so in your case two prizes. The shower is not about the guests. Unless you already have the best every party favors picked out and purchased I’d skip that.

@MamaCate: ooh I hadn’t thought about a tie though.

I'd do one prize per game.

If everyone is getting favours, they don't all need to get a prize.

I would always think one prize per game! So, I didn't vote.

@meadow: that seems totally excessive (one prize per guest) to me! I think that in general of showers I have been to or hosted we have done top 2-3 with maybe an extra for a tie. So maybe for 2 games 6 prizes total?

I agree that if you are doing favors especially a prize for everyone seems unnecessary and complicated—how do you make sure everyone gets one if some people aren’t good at/interested in the games?

I'd probably do top 3 for each game - if you think there may be multiple winners (I feel like bingo sometimes has a key square and a few people will win as the same present is unwrapped) you can maybe do up to five.

I don't know why you'd need to plan on having a prize for everyone at the party if you're also giving them favors??

I'm helping with the "games" portion of a baby shower. There will be a favor for everyone attending. But I was trying to think about how many prizes there should be for the games. We are playing two games (one being bingo) that should have prizes. About 40 people invited to the shower - I am thinking 5 prizes per game. Someone IRL is telling me I should plan one prize per guest.

Where does the HB community fall on this?
