@jessiejo17: I was clueless until my LC came over when liv was 5 days old. I had no intention of BFing before she was born so I took no classes, didnt buy a pump, did no research into either. As soon as I held her, I looked at DH and said "I have to breastfeed. I need to do it." lol. So I was totally clueless. She will be a year old on Sunday and shes still nursing =o) So dont worry about being clueless. It will come!

I have two Medela sets and 4 bottles. 4 bottles is not enough and I was going to buy more until I found out that my Ameda and Lansinoh bottles fit, so that is 8 bottles total to pump into.

At work I pump into bottles and transfer to Lansinoh bags because LO doesn't like the bottles I pump into. Diva!

I think I need to get one more set and buy some more tubing just in case.

@LivsMama: thank you! I have my breastfeeding class next month so I was hoping I would learn a lot there. I feel a little clueless right now on pumping besides what my coworkers tell me.

@jessiejo17: dont stress about getting more tubes, just another set of the flange assembly (like the horn and part that screws into the bottle.)

This is great, I didn't even think about needing more sets of tubs, just bottles. Thanks :)

I only have one, but I only pumped once a day while I was at home with Liv and then every 2 hours at work once I went back. I used the medela wipes and refrigerated my pump parts during work days. I definitely should have bought another set though.

Aside from that, I have 6 of the small Medela bottles and 3 of the large ones.

I have three sets right now including about 10 bottles, and I pump about 3X day at work. I use one set during the day (refrigerated) and don't wash/sterilize until the end of the day. I had only one set while I was at home, but bought the extras once I started working again.

I have three sets but wash them after each use because I'm home right now. I only pump four times a day now so it's much better but when I was pumping every three hours going from one to three sets made things much easier.

I have 2 sets, which is enough now that I only pump occasionally. There was a period of time that I EP'd, and I definitely would have gotten at least 1 more set if I had continued to EP, even with refrigerating between uses. I have 14 bottles, which was the right amount for me - I only store one pumping session in a bottle.

I only have one and really need to get another set soon. Especially now that I'm EP!! I need more bottles that will fit the pp, too...

when i ep'd with charlie, i had 5 sets, but i didn't refrigerate and just did an obscene amount of dishes.

with olive i rotate 2 sets, but i work from home too. i've found 2 is more than enough for me, but i don't pump in the middle of the night. if i were ep, i think i'd need at least 3 sets.

I exclusively pump and am wondering if I should invest in more pump parts/sets. I have 7 Medela bottles and 2 sets of flanges/connectors/valves. Despite using some shortcuts like refrigerating my pump parts, I still feel like I'm constantly doing dishes what with bottles, pump bottles, etc. How many sets do you all use?
